Coping with Peri-Menopause & Menopause - with Health & Fitness Expert Zara Groves
Zara Groves is a Health & Fitness Expert and in today’s episode, we will be discussing the mindset around health and fitness as well as an important discussion around menopause and the bodily hormonal changes that occur and what to look out for during peri-menopause, and more importantly, how to cope with the symptoms.
Diagnosed with Peri-Menopause, Zara was too anxious to leave her house for 4 days so the doctor prescribed her beta blockers to stop the anxiety however as soon as she stopped the medication, it came straight back. She then realised there was more to this than just a quick-fix pill and so decided to investigate to determine what the body really requires and she has never looked back.
Zara has been running her own Fitness Business for over 20 years. She has worked all over the world, Asia, Europe, Australia and the UK, and has taught classes, presented at events and danced at huge events like the Rugby Sevens. She is currently based in the UK and now runs all of her sessions online and she has lots of online programs including: Zara Groves Online Fitness Studio, Pole Hub and Fat-loss Fortnight.
